About Bethesda Cares, Inc.
Bethesda Cares serves the county's homeless and working poor. We provide a wide range of critical services with minimal overhead. Our paid staff of three coordinates more than 450 volunteers, maximizing human resources and energy to meet the needs of the homeless. Since our office space and equipment are donated, your contributions go to work immediately and productively.
If you have ever survived a serious personal crisis due to unemployment, chronic health problems, substance abuse, or other challenges, you know how difficult it is to keep you head above water. Some people have the wherewithal to withstand catastrophes, be it financial reserves, a personal support network, or solid educational foundation. Others do not have such resources--and that's where Bethesda Cares, Inc. can make a difference.
