Volunteer Opportunities:

Office Work: Volunteer a few hours each week a month to assist in the Bethesda Cares office.  Assistance is also needed in writing thank you letters and updating mailing list and databases.

Lunch Program

Teachers and Trainers: Teach someone how to use a computer, write a resume, read and write, pass the GED, or speak English as a Second or Other Language.

Newsletter: Assist in publishing our quarterly newsletter. Write articles or help with the design or layout.

Lunchtime Workers: Volunteers set up the dining room, help prepare extra food, serve lunch, and clean up.

Special Projects: Add your name to a list of volunteers available for one-time events, such as fundraisers, pick-up or drop-off of donated items, and special mailings.
