Our Services

At Bethesda Cares, our Onsite Services are available Monday through Friday at 7728 Woodmont Avenue, Bethesda Maryland.

Eviction Prevention is part of our mission on ending homelessness. Bethesda Cares works to keep people from becoming homeless.

An Outreach Specialist is available Monday through Friday for discussion and referrals. The Outreach Specialist meets the clients where they are located. Sometimes clients are located on the streets, and sometimes the clients come to our Drop-In Center. The Outreach Specialist fits the needs of the client to the services to form a strategy for each client to exit homelessness. This often requires housing placement and networking with housing providers.
The causes of homelessness are many and so are the responses. There is no typical day on the street and at the drop-in center, so we respond to the person and problems as we engage them. We work with multiple agencies to coordinate housing and services for our clients. Whatever the needs are, we find the solutions. We also engage clients and gain trust on multiple levels so clients can feel comfortable being linked into multiple services, including the Psychiatrist at Bethesda Cares.

Food for the hungry is available every day of the week through our Meal Program.

The Clothing Closet is open Monday and Thursday mornings. Donations are welcome.

Assistance with Prescriptions is available for homeless clients only.

Psychiatric Services are available onsite one morning a week for homeless clients.
