Meet James
Six years ago, with no relatives and no money, James had nowhere to go. That’s when he stumbled upon a flyer for Bethesda Cares: an organization that he holds in great esteem for the supportive services that were provided to him and many others in similar situations.
“I wanted to get off the streets and Bethesda Cares helped me to help myself.” The workers at Bethesda Cares helped James to create goals and take small steps to achieve those goals. Through the referrals of Bethesda Cares workers, James received permanent supportive housing.
James is currently housed and doing well. “I don’t think that I could have done it without Bethesda Cares.”
