Lunchtime Workers
Bethesda Cares provides meals with the necessary support of volunteers. Volunteers are needed Monday through Saturday to prepare and/or serve client meals.
Office Work
There is often a need for volunteers in the Bethesda Cares office. Help sort toiletries, answer telephones and chat with clients.
Special Projects
Church mission projects? Eagle Scout project? School Community Service project? Plan a special event for Bethesda Cares Clients. Plan a fundraiser for Bethesda Cares. Use your own gifts and creativity to uniquely help Bethesda Cares.
Organize a Drive
Bethesda Cares is always in need of socks, coffee, tea, non-perishable food, fresh fruit and vegetables and toiletries. Organize a drive with your school, religious, or civic organization to benefit Bethesda Cares.
Be an Advocate
If we are really committed to ending homelessness, we must advocate for positive social changes on the local, state, and national levels. You could be an advocate for affordable housing, health care, those with mental illnesses or disabilities, veterans, or a whole plethora of other issues. Get involved with agencies like the National Coalition for the Homeless and Action in Montgomery.
