For Students Looking for Service Hours
We have Saturday lunch service hours available for volunteers. The student must call us him or herself to schedule specific Saturday hours based on availability. We can be reached at 301.907.9244 between 9 am and 12:30 pm or between 3 pm and 5 pm Mondays through Fridays for scheduling.
Donate Time
Your gift of time will make a difference to people in our community. Opportunities include but are not limited to preparing, serving lunch, assisting in the office and running drives for much needed items such as socks, toiletries and warm clothes.
Donate Goods
Repurpose your clothes, outgrown jackets; drawer full of tee shirts, Bethesda Cares’ clients can use them. Toiletries such as travel size shampoo, lotion and soap, razors, deodorant to name a few are welcome here. Non perishable food as well as fresh fruit and vegetables are always welcome at our lunch program.
Donate Money
Bethesda Cares has no overhead as office and utilities are donated. Your money goes immediately to work to assist those in the community.
